Re-Review - After a Few Days, Its a Pretty Good App
The other day I gave this app "1 Star" because of the battery drain on the iPhone. But, after a few days of use, Im going to up my rating to 4 stars.
The dramatic battery drain I experienced was mainly associated with syncing the watch. IF, youre going to make a lot of changes to your watch with multiple syncs, make sure your iphone is plugged into a charger.
My first experience was without my iphone on the charger and after just a few minutes of use, I was like "Wow!, my battery is down from full to 50% in no time!"
The ability to setup watch screens and settings on the iphone is great.
I also said "Its not usable on a run.", but that is NOT true. That was just lack of experience on my part.
I used movescount as a "second screen" today on a 2 hr 20 min run. In that time my battery went from 100% to 50%. I took several pictures, checked the map, etc with movescount. I also used some other apps on my iPhone (messages, browser, email, etc). When I returned home, I syncd my watch using movescount and the iphone battery went from 50% to 48%. Not too bad.
So, after a few days of use, Im much more pleased with the app than my initial impression. Uping my rating to "4 Stars".
